These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the ScribeCal website, booking pages, and software services. By using ScribeCal, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use ScribeCal.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
  • Workspace administrators are responsible for managing team access and permissions inside their workspace.

What ScribeCal Provides

  • Booking pages, calendar-based scheduling, intake collection, reminders, meeting capture, transcripts, AI-generated summaries, follow-up tools, and customer relationship workflows.
  • Certain features depend on third-party integrations such as calendars, video platforms, messaging channels, or payment processors.
  • We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time to maintain or improve the service.

Acceptable Use

  • You may use ScribeCal only for lawful business or professional purposes.
  • You may not use the service to violate privacy, recording, consumer protection, intellectual property, or payment laws.
  • You may not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data, reverse engineer protected systems, or use the service to distribute harmful, unlawful, or abusive material.
  • You may not record meetings or process participant data without the notices, permissions, or consents required in the relevant jurisdiction.

Recording and AI Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for determining whether recording, transcription, AI analysis, or reminder messages are lawful for your use case and geography.
  • AI-generated summaries, briefs, action items, and follow-up drafts are assistive outputs and should be reviewed before you rely on them.
  • ScribeCal does not guarantee that AI outputs or transcripts are complete, accurate, or suitable for regulated or professional decision-making without human review.

Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected at checkout.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
  • Prices, taxes, and payment options may vary by plan, region, currency, and payment provider.
  • If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, suspend paid features, or limit access until billing is resolved.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the Cancellation & Refund Policy published on this website. That policy forms part of these terms.

Customer Content and Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of the content you submit to the service, including recordings, notes, transcripts, client records, and other customer data.
  • You grant ScribeCal the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise operate the service on your behalf.
  • ScribeCal and its licensors retain all rights to the software, website, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property, except for customer content.

Third-Party Services

ScribeCal may integrate with third-party tools or use third-party infrastructure providers. Your use of those integrations may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

Suspension and Termination

  • You may stop using the service or cancel your subscription at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the platform or other users, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful way.
  • On termination, access to the service may end immediately, but some records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy or as required by law.

Disclaimers

  • The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScribeCal disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of third-party integrations or AI-generated outputs.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScribeCal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities. If liability cannot be excluded, ScribeCal’s aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid to ScribeCal for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
